Wheel Alignment
Wheel alignment also referred to as tire alignment, refers to the adjustment of your vehicle’s suspension to properly calibrate the angle of your wheels which affects the way they contact the road. Wheel alignment helps with tire performance and prolongs their lifespan. When D&D Service Center surveys your wheel alignment, we focus on three primary components: camber, toe, and caster.
- Camber: When you are viewing your tire from the front of your vehicle, this is the inward or outward angle of your tire. Too much inward or outward tilt is an indicator that your wheels need to be adjusted. Two common contributors to camber misalignment are worn bearings and ball joints.
- Toe: Toe alignment refers to the extent to which your wheels turn inward or outward from a birds-eye-view. Whether they are a toe in or a toe out, both require adjustment.
- Caster: This is what helps balance your steering, stability, and cornering. To be more specific, this is the angle of your steering axis when you are viewing it from your vehicle’s side.
Improper tire or wheel alignment can cause tires to wear unevenly and prematurely.
Tire Balancing
Different from wheel alignment, tire balancing refers to the compensation of weight imbalances in your tires. There are two types of tire imbalances that need correction: static and dynamic. Static balance addresses vertical movement which can cause vibration. A dynamic imbalance addresses vertical and lateral movement. Both imbalances require a special balancing machine to restore balance within your tires.
At D&D Service Center, one of our certified technicians will mount your tires and adjust your tire pressure to its ideal inflation. After that, each tire goes on our balancing machine where it will spin at high speeds to accurately measure the wheel/tire combination imbalance. That lets us know how much weight to add to your tire and the area where it is needed.

Tire Rotation
Your tires are one of the more expensive investments you can have for your car or truck, and it is important to keep them protected. The fact is, regular tire rotation helps extend their life and improves their overall performance. The purpose of tire rotation is to rotate your wheels to a different position to ensure that all tires wear evenly. In our professional experience, it is best if you get them rotated every 6,000 to 8,000 miles. For good measure, have them rotated when you go in for your routine oil change. This keeps your investment protected as best as you can.
The benefits of tire rotation service by D&D Service Center:

Tire Manufacturers
Your vehicle’s safety standard largely depends on the quality of the tire you have. When you undergo the journey of driving during potentially hazardous conditions, whether it is rough terrain or coarse weather – it is generally the quality of your tires that determine the outcome. Sub-par tires run an increased risk of being blown out or suffering punctures, while tires from reputable manufacturers tend to uphold much better. That is why when selecting tires for your vehicle, it is important to ensure that you are purchasing quality tires from distinguished brands, not low-quality tires that leave your vehicle vulnerable.
D&D Service Center carries a wide variety from the most respected brands in the business including Michelin, Firestone, Yokohama, Bridgestone, Goodyear, and much more.
